Meditation is the best spiritual practice to access your infinite intelligence, creativity, minimize your ego, anger and stress. It also helps acquaint with your spiritual self which is your real self as per the higher dimension of your spiritual existence. The entire Universe is within you and you can alter the dimension of quality of your life once your mind, body and soul are in a positive harmony. Your life consists of personal, professional, relationship, health and spiritual life which can be balanced in a positive harmony through spiritual practice called meditation. Once your mind, body and soul are in a positive harmony then you can maintain a positive harmony among your all areas of life. Sometimes you might experience through an emotional issues, traumatic issues, grief issues and lot more which can be healed through meditation practice as well.
There are various techniques for practicing meditation and I have been practicing Focused Meditation (Breathing Technique). Actually you don't need to be a meditation expert to practice meditation in your day to day life rather it is experentially learned. Breathing technique is one of the easiest technique I have been practicing and recommending to my clients. Most of the people have misunderstanding and misconception regarding the working mechanism of meditation but once you understand its working mechanism then you can practice it easily. You just need to have a comfortable clothing, peaceful location and you need to have comfortable meditative posture. The best time to practice meditation would be in your morning time and before you sleep for 20 minutes everyday in each session.
You just need to fold your legs, make your spine straight, head up and close your eyes without stressing on your forehead region. When you are in a complete meditative posture then focus your attention on your inhalation and exhalation of breath. While inhaling and exhaling your breath use one mantra "So Ham"-(DR Chopra Mantra) or numbers from 1-9. The mantra or numbers is used to focus your attention on your breath without being judgmental. During the meditation period, your thought, emotions, body sensations and external environment may distract you lot which can be minimized through focusing on your breathing. If you keep focusing on your breath despite of countless distraction then you can reach to the state of thoughtless state.
So you can connect with your spiritual self in the thoughtless state of awareness and your spiritual self is your real self. You can experience a true inner joy and inner peace through such spiritual practice in the highway of your life. Finally you can be more generous spiritual soul with a higher level of intelligence, creativity and love once you practice meditation on a daily basis.
